What we offer…
We are an award winning therapy company, winning the inclusive practice award in 2022 and the outstanding women health care award 2023. We are an incredibly passionate service that puts the needs of the children and their families at the forefront of what we do, whilst creating unique packages of support that can meet the individual needs of each of our schools.
We work with settings to create an environment where children, staff and families feel connected, empowered and supported.
We use a system where families can access their children’s speech and language therapy reports and intervention programmes as well as resources to support their children at home and have direct contact with the therapists if needed. All staff working with the child also have access to this, so that support can be fully integrated across school and home.
Our SLTs integrate with the staff teams so that speech and language therapy becomes part of every day school life and not an isolated service.
We connect with families too so that they feel supported and feel empowered to meet their children’s needs.
We work well with a wide range of health and education services and support schools in obtaining the holistic support they need to provide the best possible outcomes for children.
The service lead oversees all of the school contracts and meets with the SENDCO or senior leaders within the school each half term to ensure that they are happy with the structure of the support being provided.
The Nest takes a unique approach to therapy and education where daily speech and language therapy and outstanding early years education combine. The Nest is a nursery setting for children with a range of additional needs aged from birth to five years of age.
